Tablecloth - Magnolias 3m
This collage has been designed using the work of Martin Johnson Heade (August 11, 1819 – September 4, 1904) He was an American painter known for his salt marsh landscapes, seascapes, and depictions of tropical birds as well as lotus blossoms and other still lifes. His painting style and subject matter, while derived from the romanticism of the time, are regarded by art historians as a significant departure from those of his peers.
Printed on heavy weight natural coloured linen, and can be used as a tablecloth, a throw, curtains or wall art.
Linen is a natural fibre and one can expect to see some slubs or irregularities in the fabric. The natural and textured beauty of the fabric comes through timelessly even when printed. Colours on fabric will be more faded than on the picture shown, and may vary due to the colourants used in the pigment printing techniques.
All our textiles are designed and produced in Cape Town, in small editions. It is important to remember that with handmade products, one should handle it with the delicate care that one would with any piece of art.
Repeated washing or prolonged exposure to light may cause colours to fade. We would strongly suggest dry cleaning your pigment printed linen. Never machine wash, soak, spot clean, tumble dry or bleach your printed linen product. Iron on medium as necessary.
Details: Fabric: 100% Linen. Size: 3 meters x 1.5 meter, but slight size variations may occur. Machine stitched hem on short sides only. Self edge showing.
