Flowers in the dark.

I have always adored the aesthetic of dark and moody photography,  being fascinated by the effect of contrasted light and shadow.  This range is inspired by the Golden Age Dark Still Lifes of the Dutch Masters. Using our very own incredible array of local fynbos, these images were styled and photographed by myself and then they were pigment printed onto pure linen. The result is a dramatic peek into an intimate scene of nature.
